How to qualify

 The Second Rental Chance Program Is designed to assist individuals with Poor Credit, First Time Renter and an Eviction with renting a Single family, Townhouse, Condo or Apartment throughout Wisconsin. We have  landlords in our program willing to rent to you, when others have turned you down due to your rental history. Restrictions apply to certain properties for applicants with an Eviction. 

To qualify for the program you must meet the following criteria below:

  • First time renters accepted
  • Bad credit accepted
  • Maximum of 1 Full eviction in the past 10 years 
  • Stipulated or Dismissed evictions accepted. Must provide proof that Stipulation has been paid in full.
  • We do not accept applications for OPEN cases 
  • Evictions can't be due to property damages or criminal activity 
  • Income from Employment, Social Security , Retirement and Self Employment must be 2 times the rent 
  • Coapplicants 18 and over accepted under the same guidelines
  • Restrictions apply to certain properties for applicants with an eviction

We are not a property management company, we do not collect rent, or issue a lease on behalf of the landlords in our program. Nor are we affiliated with ANY Government funded programs such as accepting applications for low income housing or placement in low income houses or apartments. You must contact your local Housing Authority. 

We do business in accordance with the FEDERAL FAIR HOUSING LAW (The FAIR  HOUSING AMENDMENTS ACT of 1988). It is illegal to discriminate against  any person because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial  status or national origin in the sale or rental of housing, in the  financing of housing, in the provision of real estate brokerage  services, in the appraisal of housing, blockbusting is also illegal.
